Jason came home from the hospital on Super Bowl Sunday 1971. It marked the first of a life of interesting experiences.
He grew up in Shippensburg, PA where at age 15 he began a broadcasting career that lasted over 20 years. He worked at stations in Pennsylvania, New Mexico, Minnesota, Michigan and Missouri before moving into tech support in 2007.
In 1994 he was living in New Mexico when at 2am on a Sunday morning he came across a cable channel playing Christian music videos. A video from the band PFR caught his eye and opened him up to Christian music. He began to listen to PFR, then other Christian bands...and a few months later accepted Christ.
He prayed for God to give him an opportunity to use his ability in broadcasting and two years after he found Christ the Lord brought him into Christian radio. He worked until 2000 in Christian broadcasting.
In the fall of 2000, Jason's 15 year addiction to pornography came to light and he was run from ministry. He ended up with no friends, no job and realizing the pain of being someone in ministry who "sinned." It was the beginning of a decade of challenges.
Over the next ten years, as he recoverd from his addiction, Jason had to face a job loss, divorce, a child diagnosed with autism, apartment fire where he lost almost everything he owned, the deaths of multiple close family members, an attack on one of his children and a search for God's plan in the midst of the painful challenges.

He also had several blessings including his marriage to Amy in 2008. He and Amy moved to Nashville in 2009. They're now members of Cross Point Church.
Jason is in the midst of scrapping a bunch of writing and seeking God's direction for the future.
He's also seeking opportunities to speak to various groups about overcoming difficulties, finding the good in bad situations and following God even when life doesn't go the way we hope.
In his spare time (what little there is) Jason's a huge NASCAR, baseball and hockey fan. He's a die-hard Philadelphia sports fan who isn't afraid to admit he cried when the Phillies won the 2008 World Series and then choked in the 2009 Series.
